Brief: Create a limited edition capsule collection embodying the likeness of both the New York Red Bulls and Two Nines; the streetwear brand founded by the teams MLS Golden Boot winner and forward, Bradley Wright-Phillips. Identify with and appeal to the target crossover audience of MLS fans and streetwear consumers.
Solution: I designed merchandise that maintain the bold and playful nature that comprises both Two Nines’ brand identity and Bradley Wright-Philips’ striking career, while simultaneously paying homage to athleticism and the New York Red Bulls’ rich pastime. To make the debut collection more interactive for the unique target audience of MLS fans and Two Nines consumers, we devised an in-store activation that encouraged additional DIY customization of the collaboration pieces.
